Prime of Midlife
I am in the prime of my Midlife.
I don’t think I have reached crisis point yet but that remains to be seen as I gradually accept I am no longer in my youth.
Life has been a rollercoaster in general but not anything I haven’t been able to cope with. However that may change in the near future as my full time employment has become less secure, my darling daughter is looking to fly the nest, my fiancee who lives hundreds of miles away is becoming a bigger part of my life, my parents become less fit and able and I need to think about the next part of my life.
Renowned as someone who lurches from one day to the next, the time has come for me to try and put together a plan for the future. I have no intention of becoming super organised, to be honest I don’t think that is possible at this late stage. However I am still in my prime, albeit the prime of my midlife and I intend enjoying it.

Little tip regarding rosehips. The dogrose is superior to Rosa Regosa, regarding nutritional and medicinal benefits, and it is better to wait until first frosts have arrived. During the frosts, the roots and branches send nutrients to the rosehips to protect them. The best hips appear wrinkled, post frost. If you intend to immerse hips in oil for skin moisturiser, you must not Squeeze the muslin during the straining process. The hips will burst and as you will be aware, water and oil, do not mix. Calendula in oil, works wonders on a coldsore or the first tinglings of such. So much so, it becomes rare to eventually suffer from initial cold sore tingle. The same solution works beautifully for toothache/ abscess/ gumboil. I discovered that during lockdown. Mullein and garlic, again immersed in oil for 6-8 weeks works well for earache. Five drops as often as required.
I can’t comment on YouTube. I was talking respectfully with women from all over the world, in the comment section of a Siberian uploader. Next thing I know, I’m banned for life, for ‘hate speech’. The woman removed her video, because it was causing problems with YouTube.

Joyce.
