Easy Coleslaw Recipe
This is the coleslaw recipe that I have been using for the past few months. I have found it easy to make and very tasty. I will also admit that I normally add an extra spoonful of mayonnaise and a bit more than a pinch of sugar. I will however put the basic recipe here so you can decide for yourself.
Coleslaw Recipe:
½ medium sized white cabbage
½ red or white onion
1 carrot
3 tbsp Mayonnaise
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp mustard
1tsp apple cider vinegar
Pinch sugar
Salt & pepper
Method
Slice the cabbage and onion finely, grate the carrot and place in a bowl.
Mix these ingredients together in a jug, continuing until they are fully blended.
Add to sliced vegetables.
That is it, as you can see, it is pretty simple and it doesn’t take too much time to prepare.
We have this with burgers, quiche, pizza and salads. It is great for taking to work with some cooked meats for lunch.
